How'd she know?
Three years ago, soon after Janet had transitioned, our then 11 year-old son Connor came with us to the Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference. Leaving the building in his Eagles McNabb shirt he was stopped by a 50 something transwoman who, despite her elegant dress, given her build and facial features, she had clearly transitioned past her youth. She hailed him, "Hey, can you believe McNabb's on the Red Skins now?" Connor wondered, "She's a woman, how could she know so much about football?!"

Lots of women do know football. It is unfortunate that some can never blend in, I just hope that we reach a point in society where people understand, and do not ridicule. It is what is inside that truly matters, and for TG folk, they were always the correct gender, it is physical sex that is awry.
